Paul Smith

Paul Smith as ever produced another amazing collection this season, grasping tailoring for girls and just the way I want to dress. One of my highlight collections for SS12.
These looks will definitely be used as inspiration for next year.

London SS12 Higlights

London still has it and this season is better than ever.
The feel for next summer is definately feminine and remaining lady like, with shorts and knee length skirts the way forward.
Matthew Williamson collection came as an unexpected pleasure, showing a range of glamourous colourful collection with pinks and gold tones.
This playsuit is my highlight from the collection.
Jonathon Saunders, Christopher Kane, Erdem, Temperley and Nicole Farhi all showed adhered to the feminine trend. There is a wide range of techniques shown; applique, silk print, all with a light airy feel.

New York Highlights

The trends that caught my eye this season are the influences from the Golden Era, the cocktail dresses and glamour.
Ralph Lauren
 Calvin Klein
Marchesa
Diane Von Furstenburg’s collection was a New York highlight, showing an incredible versatile collection.

Other personal highlights came from reasonably new New York designers; Prabal Gurung, Reed Krakoff, Thakoon and Peter Som. All showing a wide variety of prints in blue, green hues but still remaining commercial for wearability.

Wu’ed

Shorts, shirts and embellished collars, three of my favourite things at Jason Wu.
The mix of feminine and masculine keeps the look interesting with lots of scope for making it your own.

High Street v Designer

It hasn’t take the high street long to cotton on to one of the most talked about collections of London Fashion Week AW11.
This Warehouse version is influenced by the Stella original, making a great party dress at only £60.00.
