Tea and Cake
I have a soft spot for a good afternoon treat and I have found some treasures this week;
Choccywoccydodah – has a crazy name but is a great little shop with an upstairs cafe, in Fouberts Place off Carnaby Street. The downstairs chocolate shop is crazy enough and the cafe is quaint, personal with lots of lovely touches – with AMAZING cakes.
Also I visited Manchester last weekend and had a catch up with one of my stars at Teacup in the Northern Quarter. A very busy cosy teashop where the tea menu is longer than my arm and the cakes are on platforms making them the focal point of the store.

Milano – la prima citta
I have just returned from a long weekend in Milan. I have had a penchant for all things Italiano for as long as I can remember – food, scenery, fashion, coffee and the language. The lifestyle and country appeals to me so much I would love to become fluent and move for good.
Milan is a beautiful city with beautiful effortlessly stylish inhabitants even in a bright but chilly weekend in November. I just felt at home here, roaming around Brera, stopping for countless cappucino’s and taking in the designer store on Via Montenapoleone and cocktails and dinner in Navigli.

Anna, Queen of Fashion
There is a reason why Anna Wintour has reigned at the top of the fashion world for so long, part of it is to do with her initiative’s in awards, sponsorship and mentoring young emerging talent into the spotlight. Just looking at the Vogue/CNFA award winners is basically a list of the most sought after designers. The telegraph have written a new article after an interview which shows the softer friendlier side to the press photographs and an endevour to keep fashion, well fashionable and thought provoking.
In recent years, perhaps since ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ there has been a lot of interest into the lives of Anna and her gang; Grace Coddington, Andre Leon Talley, Hamish Bowles etc. Not ill conceived either, to the outside world their lives are exciting and enviable perhaps. I have witnessed the crazed circus that follows Anna during fashion week’s and now completely understands why she wears sunglasses inside and during shows as there are constant camera’s flashing in her face.

Harrods is having a Disney Christmas….
I know I am technically a grown up but Disney Princesses still have a big place in my heart….
Hearing that Harrods had gone Disney Princess crazy for Christmas bringing in designers and real Disney princesses I got excited. If you’re anywhere near Knightsbridge go and pretend to be your favourite princess – we all have one (or two) – my favourites are Aurora and Ariel.

Aurora by Elie Saab (only the best for my Favourite)
