Hunger Magazine by Rankin

‘For the culturally and visually hungry’

The tag line for Rankin’s third magazine does certainly deliver it’s tag line. This epic bibical third issue is a feast of beautiful photos covering art, beauty, film & fashion topics. The magazine usually has two covers and this issue was all about Skyfall….. Daniel Craig or Naomie Harris…… Craig for me thanks.

I attended the launch party on Tuesday night which was great to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Although the pictures are for the magazine, the launch party was held as usual at a Kentish Town gallery, they are stunning blown up and turned into an exhibition. Rankin is an incredible photographer, but everyone knows that already.

This issue includes; Holly Willoughby, Heidi Klum, Azelia Banks, Daniel Craig, Zandra Rhodes and too many to mention. I would highly invest in this bi-annual magazine – a good investment that will keep you occupied for the next six months with issue 4. I look forward to the next launch party…

Photography talent; Rebekah Mackay

I have had a few requests about the photography from my Bermondsey Festival Show, the street photographs are from a lovely photography student from Sycracuse called Rebekah Mackay. I’d watch out for her, her work is fun and fresh and is mix of studio and caught off guard.

The exciting thing is we are doing more work together soon and I am really excited about working with her.

Her website is; http://www.rebekahmackay.com/ so have a look at her portfolio.

Bermondsey Fashion Show

I was lucky enough to be involved in this years Bermondsey Festival Fashion show, as a model……. yes model. The whole experience was so much fun and I got introduced to gorgeous boutiques and their owners who contributed clothes to the show. I’d get down there for a weekend stroll, it’s a lovely part of town.

The show took place on Morrocco Street just round the corner from the Fashion & Textile museum. So for the sixth year running the fashion show was the focal point of the festival – clothing from Pussy Willow, Zandra Rhoades, Susie Stone, Igloo florists…..

Can’t wait for next year….
